FOR SALE: "AS IS" "Re-bodied" from DAVE BENISEK & OLIVER COLTERHAN GSX RACE CAR! This is the chassis from MY old GSX race car with a plain skylark body that I bought from Dave Benisek who had it built for strip racing only. The chassis has been untouched from its former glory since I bought it. Roll cage with a pair of race seats. as raced. Big Ford rear end with Williams axles and wheelie bars. Manual steering and 4 wheel disc race brakes. Used MT Pro Drag 31.25X12.2RX15W, New never run Hoosier Drag 27X4.4X15 front.
INCLUDED:
1970 skylark body mounted, needs minor body and full paint, GSX grille with solid plastic inserts as raced, GSX painted Stage 2 scoop fiberglass hood, race chute & hardware not mounted, 70 front bumper needs rechromed, 72 Rear bumper with rubber trim has round holes for thru exhaust, in trunk fuel tank needs new foam. Fuel lines are not connected.
Needs batteries, (trunk mount battery brackets included.) New Rubber around windows and doors.
Motor, Trans & Driveshaft installed.
Running & Freshened 455 street motor originally from Bobb Makley's street car low 12's, 455 new rings, mains & rod bearings, nice cam, HEI distributor, New 1 wire Alternator, headers, Edelbrock intake, Quadrajet carb needs rebuilt, pro form rockers, TH400 with converter, Driveshaft. New never run Big Aluminum 3" radiator with original twin electric fans.
Original lightweight smaller radiator. included, I have a box with a few misc parts that go with the car. New windshield just installed.
